Townsville Street Circuit

Townsville Circuit is a 2.8KM Street venue, used once a year for the Australian V8′s. The track is reminiscent of the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit. It winds its way through Reid Park where specially constructed roads form approximately 70 percent of the circuit. Due to the purpose built sections of the track, it is considered closer to a standard circuit. Facilities at the circuit are very good, with over 12,000 grandstand seats for fans, and access available all around the circuit. For the teams, the pit facilities at the track are good, with the permanent buildings being used each year.
