Assen TT is a permanent Race track which is in the North of the Netherlands. It’s one of the largest circuits in the Netherlands, and is home to the largest motorcycle race in the country. Originally the Assen circuit ran on the local roads and through the villages, however in 1955 the modern day circuit was made. Assen is the only circuit on the current Moto GP calender to have featured since 1949 (on the old circuit) and every year after. The circuit will hold 100,000 spectators, numbers which are achieved regularly for the Moto GP and TT events. In 2006 the circuit was modified to make the circuit we know today, and this is the circuit in use at the moment.
